National, Date XX April 2023: NxtWave Disruptive Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society (APIS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the eve of the Andhra Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023, organised at Andhra University, College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam. The MOU aims to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and startups in the state of Andhra Pradesh by providing career-aligned education and developing contemporary skills for in-demand job roles through short- and long-term programs.

Speaking about the collaboration CEO of NxtWave, Rahul Attuluri said - "Both parties will work towards helping startups hire talent and building awareness about Advanced Technologies among relevant stakeholders in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The collaboration between APIS and NxtWave Disruptive Technologies Pvt. Ltd. will pave the way for creating more job opportunities and encouraging entrepreneurship in the state. NxtWave is an ed-tech platform that imparts career-aligned education with content focused on the development of contemporary skills for in-demand job roles through short- and long-term programs targeted towards upskilling fresh graduates and college students. APIS is a state nodal agency that spearheads the promotion of innovation, entrepreneurship, and startups among first-generation entrepreneurs, researchers, students, citizens, and the government.

The 3-year MOU also states that NxtWave will coordinate with the APIS and connect with startups through various measures such as providing trained candidates, hosting pre-placement talks, connecting startups with relevant mentors, conducting certified online boot camps, building an online tech community, and spreading awareness about job opportunities in Advanced Technologies.

This partnership between APIS and NxtWave is expected to contribute to the growth of the startup ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh and provide opportunities for students and fresh graduates to upskill and contribute to the state's economy.
